Crochet Tam

crochet-tam-001crochet-tam-002My plumber came by the other day to fix my dishwasher. He was wearing a black and yellow crocheted tam to keep his dreadlocks out of his face. I looked at him and said. I can make those. His eyes lit up and asked “Can you really?” This one is getting too small. So here is my version. He requested black and I chose cotton yarn. The summers get hot here and crawling under houses for plumbing repairs can really make a person sweat. I thought this would be a little more light weight. Hope he likes it.

Thanks for the info. Very well written and easy to follow. I have posted a few of my articles on Wacanai.com ( http://www.wacanai.com/intro ). It’s nice because I just link it to my page and when someone searches for anything similar to my article then they recommend mine. They also have some graphs that you can put on your page to help track who’s reading your stuff and how helpful they are finding it.

    Gloria,
The pattern is very similar to http://www.chezcrochet.com/page60.html. I just tweaked it a little to fit what I wanted to do.
