How I started

Crochet for me all started back about 10 years ago. My husband came home one day with an old bone crochet hook and some thread. He looked at me and said, I bet you cannot do this. Being one not to take a challenge lightly, I discarded the bone hook for an aluminum one, I exchanged the thread for yarn and taught myself to crochet. He has never once complained about my yarn stash and has always been one of the first ones to curl under a warm afghan I just finished. While I do do an occasional afghan now, I have moved on to smaller things. I have started designing hats and scarves. I am addicted to dishcloth sets, and am always looking for that perfect belt or purse pattern. As I go through this blogging process, I will add pictures of past work, work in progress, and newly completed work. I would love suggestions, ideas and links to other blogs and websites.
